Mr. Lewis Wightman Owen, Jr., age 53, of McDonough, GA passed away February 5, 2015. Lewis was born in Torrance, CA the son of the late Mary Virginia Wilkerson Owen and Lewis Whiteman Owen Sr. He worked most of his working career as a HVAC mechanic. Lewis enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hiking and cycling. Survivors are his children, Kelsey and Kyle Owen of Atlanta; mother of his children, Jacqueline Owen of Atlanta; siblings, Linda Ruedel (Frank) of CA and Cynthia Pruitt (Larry) of TN; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Lewis will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 – 5:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
