Linda Joy Franklin, age 73, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born in Atlanta on April 17, 1948 to the late Earl and Ruth Gunter. Linda is also preceded in death by her son, Stanley Earl Franklin. She enjoyed puzzles, scrabble, sewing, latch hooking and macrame. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wayne Franklin, children Wayne Franklin, Jr. of Fayetteville, Regina (Tony) Ivie of Milner, GA and daughter-in-law, Regina Franklin of Mansfield, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shailyn (Bryant) Ard, Christian Franklin, Brittney Ivie, Donovan (Melinda) Ivie, Nicholas Franklin, Holden Franklin, Dylan Franklin and Dalton Franklin. Great grandchildren, London, Seth, Noah, Lillian and Easton. Siblings, Brenda (David) Peeples of Yulee, FL, Larry Gunter of Georgia and Elizabeth (Leonard) Vincent of Atlanta. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00pm on April 20, 2022 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. Those desiring may send contributions to the American Cancer Society.
