Surviving is his sister, Lila Greeson Pease and her husband Andrew Pease of Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Lamar Greeson in 2003 and his mother, Joyce Lanelle Greeson more recently in 2022. Marcus attended South Dade High School, Homestead, Florida. Marcus loved the water and was a skilled boater and fisherman. He ran a successful water sports business in the Florida Keys for several years and he loved to collect and fix things especially cars and trucks. His biggest passion by far was music. He was a naturally gifted musician and song writer, playing guitar and most any string instrument. He wrote original songs that played on local radio stations in the Keys.
Marcus was a kind, generous and talented man with big dreams and ideas. He was devoted to the care of his loving Mother Joyce, especially when she was battling cancer and other illnesses. The passing of his Mother in October 2022 had a profound impact on Marcus, a beloved son, brother and friend who will be missed. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Eastlawn Memorial Park, 640 McGarity Road, McDonough, GA. Family and friends are welcome to attend this service before Marcus is laid to his final resting place with his beloved Mother. Flowers can be sent to the East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery to the attention of the Greeson Family.
