he dated my mom for 10 years, he was one of the most intelligent people iv known in my life. incredibly complex person that should be reconized for his impact in peoples life and his story is a wild one. he could do anything.

Mark~ You found and filled a big place in my heart years ago.  And, guess what?  You’re still there.  We may have lost actual contact through the years, it only seems like yesterday we had it all.  I’m still in awe of everything you could do!  Anything, everything.  Such talent and soul.  Thank you for your big ol’ heart. . . and sweetest smile. Mark used to be my dads neighbor in Stockbridge years ago. I used to visit my dad sometimes since I live in Tennessee. I remember Mark very well. He and dad were close friends. There was nothing Mark couldn't do and he was always a great guy to be around. Seeing that he has passed saddens me greatly. He is deeply missed. 

R.I.P. my friend. I’ve only known you for a short while but I met a man of integrity and a big caring heart for his friends and family and it showed thru him in his actions! (Thanks for looking after Jesse and Jr) You will be missed my friend! Prayers for your family🙏

I met Mark (Glass man, Stacks) as we all had nicknames, when I moved into the apartment complex in McDonough. He was the first person I met there. We became close friends. I will say I've never met a better person. He became a brother to me. We worked on and rode our Harleys all over town. He also was a mentor to my son Matthew on how to get through lifes problems as best you can. We eventually met Andrew (The Mayor) and Crab (Danielle) at the apartments. We all became best of friends playing cards , watching Nascar, grilling out every weekend.  We have so many memories  It really hurts to say goodbye.  WE'LL NEVER FORGET YOU MY BROTHER.      WE LOVE YOU STACKS !! 

Mark was my friend.  We worked together on multiple projects and i tell everyone several times a month that Mark was one of the last true, tradesmen/craftsmen we have left.  Mark was the most polite, sweet and respectable men I've continued to be around in this tough and demanding business and have seen the likes of which Mark is in my 23 years in construction.  He is a consummate professional and would also make time to laugh with us, share a story when he wasn't working and was just the best dude around.  We have a Assistant Project Manager that because of Mark's epic beard, most of the time when Mark would come in or meet with us in the office, he'd play a ZZ Top song for laughs and would occasionally do a dance in good fun too.  Mark loved his Harley and would often tell me stories about his kids and his grand babies.  He was a VERY PROUD dad and granddad and i loved to see his eyes light up and the change in his voice when he would talk about them all.  I will miss my friend and will always remember often at work and every time i hear ZZ Top on the radio.  God Bless you and your family brother, until we meet again.

I did not know Mark for very long.  We met on the Boundary project in Midtown Atlanta, but in that very short time I came to know Mark as one of the most genuine people I have ever encountered.

Mark was quickly determined to be an MVP on our project, and was nominated for recognition by our team.  While he was great at doing his job, it was his approach and personality that made him exceptional.  He went above and beyond to look out for others and did not hesitate to assist when he could.

I'll never forget the day that I ran over a 1 gallon paint can with my truck.  The paint exploded covering my truck in white paint!  The paint was water-based and so not a big deal.  It was humorous and I wasn't concerned.  The paint would dry and peel off later.  But Mark didn't hesitate to grab some cloths, the water hose, and began washing paint off my truck while several others stood and watched.  Mark saw an issue, offered help without a single word, and just did.  His selflessness and willingness to help others when he saw the opportunities is why I hold him in the highest of regard.  I will always cherish my memories working together.

Mark, may you rest in peace until we meet again.  May your family take comfort in your memory.  My thoughts and prayers for you and your family.  And thank you!

Mark, I did not know you as well as I would have liked to, but the times I shared with you will be remembered. You were the glue in the McCoy family. I have heard so many wonderful stories about you with Frank, Ellen, Marlies and Korbin.  I think God looked around in his Garden and found an empty place... then He looked on Earth and saw Mark's tired face...God put his arms around Mark and lifted him to rest...God's angels flew him to his heavenly place...God's Garden must be beautiful....because he always takes the very best.....
I am holding the entire family close to my heart and praying for God to give them the strength they need at this time.

I met Mark through a mutual friend, Danielle.  The times that I spent him were always fun.  He knew how to make you laugh, but he also knew when you needed a friend.  He would be there for us no matter what the situation was.   You didn’t have to talk to him everyday to know that he would be there for you.  He is going to be missed.  RIP my friend.  

Mark ..A.K.A Glassman,Stacks or just McCoy...our hearts are just broken ! The amount of laughter and joy you have brought to us over the past few years is endless ....we will alway hold the memories of grilling, watching NASCAR and playing cards close to our hearts .  Your "one liners " will continue to be used in our gatherings with a smile and hearty laughs ....you had a heart of gold and will be very missed !!!
