Mark David Olson

Mr. Mark David Olson, age 51 of Jackson, Georgia passed away November 18, 2014. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Verlin Palmer and Margaret Pollard Olson. Mark graduated from Forest Park High School, Class of 1981. He worked for Home Depot for over 20 years and was a member of the McDonough Christian Church, where he assisted with the offering and communion. He was also a member of the Rock Springs Compassionate Hearts Cancer Support Group. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and shopping at Academy Sports. Survivors include his wife, Jenny Olson; sons, Casey and Tyler Olson; step daughter, Shelby Buchanan; brother, Russell Olson; step father, Marion Britt. A memorial service will be conducted Friday, November 21, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Leslie will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service.
