Martha Dodd Russell

Martha Russell age 92 of McDonough passed away October 28, 2014. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Martha Eunice and Leon Dodd. Martha enjoyed cooking, gardening and being a home maker. She especially enjoyed being active in McDonough Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, J.B. Russell. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Dianne and Don Cardell of McDonough; daughter, Marilyn Holcombe of Douglasville; son and daughter in law, Leon and Linda Russell of Gulf Shores, AL; daughter and son in law, Marlene and Ben Lovejoy of Sparta; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister, Miriam Mays of Orlando, FL; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 3:00 PM at McDonough Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rachael Knoll officiating. Interment will be in Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
