Mrs. Mary Rebecca “Becky” Garland of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away August 17, 2015 at Piedmont Henry Hospital. Mrs. Garland was preceded in death by her mother, Odessa Standard Gossett and her father Edwin “Buck” Gossett, two sisters, Mrs. Ann Brown and Mrs. Carol Carden and her beloved “Fluffy”. Mrs. Garland is survived by her husband, Mr. Adolphus “Dof” Garland of Locust Grove; three brothers and spouses, Bobby and DeLane Gossett of Colbert, GA, Earl and Judy Gossett of Griffin, GA and James Gossett of Griffin, GA. Mrs. Garland was a loving and caring Aunt to 14 nieces and nephews who all adored her. Mrs. Garland also had several step nephews and nieces she was very fond of along with numerous great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. John Garland will officiate. Interment will follow at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
