Melody Ann Davidson

Melody Ann Davidson, 87 of McDonough passed away on February 20, 2026. She was born on August 20, 1938 in Lockhaven, PA to the late Frank and Marion McClintic. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 40+ years, James Davidson, Jr. and siblings, Jean, Dora, Lena and Budd. Melody enjoyed baking, cooking, babysitting and dancing. Her hobbies included bingo, playing cards, going to the Casino and watching General Hospital. Mel loved to volunteer and do anything she could to help others. She never met a stranger and whenever she saw a child she always smiled. Mel looked forward to meeting her friends at Cracker Barrel, Golden Corral or Olive Garden on Thursdays. She enjoyed going to Southpoint Church in Jackson, GA. Melody is survived by her children, Billieann (Richard) Neely of McDonough, Charles A. Crawford of Locust Grove, James E. (Janet) Davidson of 5*Jonesboro and Jerry Lee Davidson of Hampton, four granddaughters, Nickcole Neely, Crystal Neely, Brandy Crawford and Haylee Davidson and two great grandsons. Also, several nieces and nephews. A simple gathering will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, located at 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA, 30253.
