Mitzi Ann Busby

Mitzi Ann Busby, 81 of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday, July 10, 1939 to John McAlvoy and Mary Olvey. Mitzi was the "Cruise Queen" and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards and washing clothes. Mitzi was the office manager for over 40 years at Forest Park Medical Group. She is survived by her four children, Michael (Laura) Busby of McDonough, Farrell (Jeff) Kelly of Griffin, Donna (Richard) Fortson of Trinity, Alabama and Chad (Beth) Busby of Hanceville, Alabama. Ten grandchildren, Shannon Busby, Seth (Brandi) Stephens, Megan (Jeff) Singleton, Abbie (Andrew) Williams, Scott Busby, Hannah (Brandon) Drake, Anna Busby, Alexandria (Daniel) Whitfield, Caroline Kelly and Bear Busby. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia.
