Ralph Crawford

Mr. Ralph James Crawford, 92 of Eatonton passed away February 17, 2020. He was born in Hoboken, GA on May 9, 1927 to the late William and Gladys Crawford. Mr. Crawford was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Hazel Loraine Rawls and three brothers, B.J. Crawford, Monsie Crawford, Jr. and Larry Crawford. He was a WW II United States Army Veteran, retired from GSA after 32 years and was also a postman for 10 years. Mr. Crawford is survived by his sons, Barry Crawford (Susan) Crawford of Eatonton and Tim (Tracy) Crawford of Canton, GA, five grandchildren, Stephanie (Richard) Mitchell of McDonough, Tracey (Michael) Taylor of Madison, Kristen Barefield of McDonough, April (Chris) Williamson of Kennesaw and Matthew Crawford of Canton. Six great grandchildren, Savanna, Wesley, Peyton, Julia, Sarah and Brooke. Four sisters, Geneva Melton of Waycross, Elwanda Howell of Blackshear, Dr. Jarrell Bednar of Waycross, Venita Schwartz of Waycross and one brother, Bobby Crawford of Waycross. The family will receive friends at 10:30am on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Morrow First United Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Jackson will officiate a Celebration of Life service at 11:30am at the church. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
