Sherrie Everett Mitchell

Mrs. Sherrie Everett Mitchell, age 80 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 21, 2021. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia to the late Earl Leslie and Annie Margaret Reese Everett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Aubrey Mitchell. Sherrie was a graduate of Campbell High School in Smyrna and attended Massey Business College. She was retired after 26 years with Warner Lambert Company, now known as Pfizer. Sherrie was a dedicated member of Oakland Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and the Primetimers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, crocheting and playing trivia. Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Jim and Erica Mitchell of Locust Grove and Jeff and Sharon Mitchell of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jessica Mitchell of Locust Grove, Mallory and Josh Dominey of Milner and Robert Mitchell of Locust Grove; great grandchildren, Paisley, Brooks, Junior and Taylor. Friends may visit the family Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 - 2:00 PM at Oakland Baptist Church, 1005 Hwy 81, McDonough, GA 30253. Pastor Mike Smith will officiate.
