Lt. Stephen "Steve" Jay Foster, age 60, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away December 1, 2021. Steve was born June 8, 1961 in Nashville, TN to the late Jack Neil and Betty Ruth Hatcher Foster. He was a graduate of Clarkston High School and retired after 28 years with DeKalb County Police Department. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He loved to find deals antiquing and picking and loved his family and family events. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Arlene Patton Foster; daughter, Amber Trott; son, Austin Foster; grandchildren, Victoria and Colton Trott; sisters, Dee Presley, Delisa (Randall) Brooks and Jacqueline (Elliott) Ambrose; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 6, 2021 - 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit the family Sunday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
