Miss Summer Lee (Missy Ann), age 18, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away on August 20, 2016. Summer was born in Riverdale, Georgia to Kenny and Kimberly Lee. A current senior at Locust Grove High School, she was on track to graduate with the class of 2017. Summer was a beautiful girl, with long flowing hair, big blue eyes and a smile that was radiant. She would light up any room when she entered and everyone turned to look. She had a big personality that was spunky and strong willed. Her loving and free spirit is what most people will remember. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger; always putting others first, many say that if she could brighten your day, then her day was made. Summer was a leader and set her own rules. She loved photography and softball. She was a survivor and fighter of Type1 Diabetes; but Summer never let that stop her. She lived life to the fullest. She leaves behind her dad, Kenny Lee; mom, Kimberly Lee; brother, Slater Eckert; her best friend and service dog, Marley; grandma and pawpaw, Pat and Earl Hasty; papa and memaw, Rocky and Joan Lee; great-grandpa, Henry Chic Lee; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
