Susan had a full life with more than 20 years serving customers at SunTrust Bank. After retiring from the banking industry Susan launched another career as a clerk for the Superior Court of Henry County.
Susans second retirement gave her even more time to spend with those she loved most; her beloved husband James "Ernie" Powell, her "baby" Emma Lee, daughter Crystal (Chris) Bing, son Bryant (Donna) Bond as well as her grandchildren Austin Bing, Bryana Bond and Emory Bond.
Susan is also survived by her brother Robert (Deborah) Mangham, nieces April (Richie) Kirkland and Amber (Jake) Moran and several great nieces, nephews and extended family.
A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at Jenkinsburg City Cemetery 114 Cherry St, Jenkinsburg, Ga 30234.
