Tammy Lynn Thomas

Tammy Lynn Thomas passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at her home in Locust Grove, Georgia. She was born on August 17, 1982, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Donna Bowden Thomas and the late Isaac Frank Newman.

Tammy was preceded in death by her siblings, Franklin “Franky” Lambe and Isaac “Little Buddy” Newman Lambe.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Donna Thomas. Her daughter, Ashlyn Terrell “Booboo”, Her brother, Eric Thomas and her nieces and nephews, including James Thomas and Peyton Herron, along with many extended family members.

Tammy was an empathetic and caring person a wonderful daughter and a loving mother. She enjoyed reading and going thrifting as her hobbies, and each time she would be at a thrift store she’d come back home with a gift for somebody. She always knew exactly what everyone wanted and liked. She had a great ability to take care of those around her and brought warmth, laughter, and comfort wherever she went. She leaves behind countless cherished memories.

She will be forever remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253, on Sunday April 26, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Following will be Tammy's Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm.
