Teckna M Riley

After attending school in Ocho Rios, Teckna moved to London, England to further her education and earn an advanced degree in nursing. She would specialize in general nursing, midwifery, geriatrics and psychiatry. Her superb skills and dedication earned her an invitation to join the elite Queen Alexandra's Royal

Army Nursing Corps.

Teckna was a devoted wife to Albert Riley for 51 years. Her travels as a U.S. Army wife would cause her nursing career to restart many times but she always worked her way back through the ranks into a leadership position.

Teckna loved to travel and read mystery and romance novels. Her greatest joy came from her family. In addition to Albert, she will forever be remembered by her son Anthony, daughter-in-law Marla and grandson Andre as well as extended family in Jamaica and around the world.

A visitation will be held on February 12, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, located at 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253 a Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm.
