Mr. Terry R. McGinnis, Sr., age 66 of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away October 10, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Charles Arthur and Peggy Irene Woolford McGinnis. Terry faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was employed with the United States Postal Service. He dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family. Terry enjoyed wood carving and smoking Swisher Sweet Tip cigars. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Vickie McGinnis; children, Terry (Jackie) McGinnis, Jr., Kerri McGinnis and Glenn (Shaunte) McGinnis; grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Jordyn, Natalie, Abigail and Laylah; siblings, David, Malcolm, Gary, Russell, Susie, Melody and Rob.
