Thomas Sherwood Brannan

Mr. Thomas S. Brannan, age 88, of McDonough, GA passed away March 3, 2015. Mr. T. S. was born in McDonough the son of the late Mamie Estelle Strickland Brannan and George Sherwood Brannan. He was also preceded in death by a son, Wade Brannan. Mr. T. S. enjoyed spending time with family and friends, wood working, and the lake. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gwen Brannan of McDonough; children, Sidney Brannan of Cartersville and Dan and Sue Ellen Brannan of Atlanta; daughter-in-law, Lynn Brannan of McDonough; grandchildren, Heather Reymerson, Hayley Van Dyke, Marla Logan, Leigh Anne Collins, Ginger O’Neal, Sara Kate Rumsey, Mary Beth Brannan and Carol Ann Brannan; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. T. S. will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015 – 2:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Maeser officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. A private inurnment will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Park following the service.
