At the age of 19, Wanda met the love of her life, Larry Sr. God blessed them with three children. Most of all, Wanda’s giving spirit and loving nature touched many over the years. Wanda wrote many incarcerated people and supported many children all over the world. Wanda loved game nights with her family. She loved getting together with her family, whether to share a meal or just to talk. Wanda loved walking with God, and she was a family member of Glad Tidings Church. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Charles R. Grether, Jr., and her first-born grandchild, Cameron Johnson. This gentle, loving, caring, wonderful woman has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be missed by her three children, Tara Johnson (& Jimmy), Kimberly Fick, and Larry Fick Jr. (& Hope); her siblings, Wayne Grether, Glenn Grether (& Pat), Debbie Burt, Pam Miczuga, and Karen Nielsen (& Paul); her grandchildren, William, Dylan, Ryan, Christina, Jessica, Nicholas, and great grandchild, Hunter. Wanda will also be greatly missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11am on August 7, 2021 at One Nation Church in Jonesboro, GA.
Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate Wanda's life and find comfort that she is in heaven. Well done, thy good and faithful servant.
