Mrs. Wanda Jean Fulton, age 85 of Hampton, Georgia passed away March 2, 2019. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia to the late Paris Floyd and Virginia Bell Mitchell Wallace. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Fulton, grandson, Josiah Fulton and brothers, Orville Wallace and James Wallace. Wanda was a pastor’s wife for 67 years and traveled the world with her husband to twelve nations teaching the women of those nations the gospel, parenting and family life. She has been a member of Berea Christian Church for 29 years, where she served as the pastor’s wife, pianist, vocalist and a member of the Daughters of the King and the Ladies of Faith. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, taught piano and voice lessons and was an avid reader. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Dennis Fulton of Hampton; children, Steven (Penny) Fulton of Goodview, VA, Rachel (Jim) Price of Farmville, VA, David (Janet) Fulton of Hampton and Ruth (Dale) Smith of Bowling Green, OH; daughter in law, Jane Fulton of Indianapolis, IN; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sister, Winnie (Doug) Bobbio of Richmond, VA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 – 2:00 PM at Berea Christian Church. A viewing will take place from 1:30 – 2:00 PM Sunday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Berea Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather after the graveside in the Berea Family Life Center for a visitation and reception with the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Berea Christian Church or Johnson University in Knoxville, TN in memory of Wanda.
