Becky Sue Hernandez

Becky Sue Hernandez, 46, of McGregor, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Saint Eugene Catholic Church with Father Boniface Onjefu as celebrant. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery. Rosary will be at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, November 8th with visitation following at Cole Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hernandez was born on August 27, 1968 in Dodge City, Kansas to Lester and Paulene (Woods) Tieben. She worked for Westview Manor for 24 years and Stony Brook Nursing Home until her illness. Mrs. Hernandez loved her job and working with the residents. She loved to play Bingo and play softball, she was very athletic. Her true love was her family; especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother; Danny Joe Tieben.

Survivors include her daughters; Amanda Hernandez and her fiancé, Edward Rios and Stephanie Hernandez and her fiancé, C.J. Sepulbeda, parents; Lester and Paulene Tieben, brothers; Lester Tieben, Jr. and Jason Tieben, sister; Christina Leonard and her husband, Earl, grandchildren; Kaylee, Lacey, Edward and Christopher, 9 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of dear friends.
