Brandy Weldon

Brandy Weldon of Sylacauga, Alabama died Friday, October 1, 2010, at the age of 34. Graveside services and internment will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at McGregor Cemetery under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Reverend David Thompson officiating. Viewing will commence at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday until 9 P.M and from 8 Am until Noon Wednesday at Cole Funeral Home.

Brandy was born November 28, 1975, in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Douglas Keith and Caryn Danette (Larrabee) French. In 1994, she graduated from Deer Park High School. In 2003, she moved to Sylacauga, Alabama from Pasadena, Texas where she has made her home. In 2004, she married Joe Weldon in Talladega, Alabama. Throughout her life she enjoyed writing and photography.

Preceding her in death was her paternal grandmother, Wynell Anderson.

Survivors include her husband Joe Weldon of Sylacauga, Alabama, her parents, Douglas and Caryn French of Pasadena; a son, Carter Weldon of Sylacauga, Alabama; a brother, Douglas French of Pearland; a sister, Jessica Kirkpatrick and husband Trey of League City; maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Larrabee; maternal grandmother, Barbara Riddle of Foley, Alabama; numerous aunts and uncles; and her niece, Sydne Bynum of League City;
