C. W. Scott Jr.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Bruceville Baptist Church in Bruceville, Texas with Mr. Roger McClary officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas.

C. W. was born on September 18, 1928 in Bruceville, Texas to Choice Winfield, Sr. and Sudie (McKee) Scott. He was a longtime resident of Bruceville. C. W. graduated from Bruceville High School in 1946. He was a faithful member and Deacon at Bruceville Baptist Church for many years. He worked at Universal Atlas Cement Company as a Chemical Analysts and retired after 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jodene Polk; 2nd wife, Marie Bridger; sisters, Margie Scott Lunsford, Effie Scott Kincannon, and Celest Scott Taylor and a great grandson Bridger Hogan.

Survivors include his son, Craig Scott and wife Brandi of Palestine; daughter, Carolyn Scott Koepf and husband John Weldon of Glen Rose and his step-daughter Donna Bridger Hogan and husband Frankie of Robinson. His survivors also include 12 grandchildren: Kristen Koepf Ray and husband Kevin, Lauren Koepf Sparks and husband Chuck, Erin Koepf Cason and husband Jody, Meagan Scott Thurston, Haley Scott Berryman, Darrell Hogan and wife Lori and Cherie Hogan Walker and husband Eric. Great-grandchildren are Chandler, Shelby and Allie Sparks, Olivia, Cora and Nevaeh Cason, Hayden Scott, Kymber Thurston, Cason Scott, Brayden Berryman, Kassidy Montgomery and husband Brian, Kaliee and Ashlan Brock, Matt Walker, Kennedy Word and husband Kiley, and Jace Walker and finance Katy. C. W. also had 7 great-great grandchildren at the time of his passing and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to Bruceville Baptist Church.
