Georgia Alice Waller Johnson

Georgia Johnson of Eddy died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the age of 78 Graveside services and interment will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Bethany Cemetery near Eddy under the direction of Cole Chapel, 304 Eighth Street, Moody with Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Cole Chapel.

Mrs. Johnson was born October 11, 1934, in Robinson, Texas the daughter of the late Granville Lee and Minnie Hazel (Saffle) Waller. On September 14, 1987, she married Henry Lee Johnson in Laguna Beach, California. After twenty years of marriage, he preceded her in death December 15, 2007.

Much of her life was spent in Eddy prior to moving to Leander to be with family in 2008. Throughout her life, she enjoyed reading romance novels and watching Days of Our Lives.

Survivors include three sons, Darrel Gatliff and wife Judy, Daniel Gatliff and wife Dianna, Doyle Gatliff and wife Phyllis; two daughters, Peggy Arlene McDowell and Robin; Pam Heiner and husband Bill; three sisters, Jean Beighle and husband Don, Aileen Meadows, Marie Richter and husband Ricky; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
