Icie Florence Williams

Icie Florence Ischy Jansen Williams, age 95, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 in Terrell, Texas. Graveside services will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 2PM at McGregor Cemetery with Dr. Phillip Riegel Officiating.

Icie was born on October 21, 1927 in Georgetown, Texas to Paul and Ola Ischy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harry Jansen and Glen Williams and her six siblings.

She married Harry Jansen on September 15, 1943 in Walburg, Texas. Icie is survived by her sons, Allan (Toni) Jansen of Quinlan, Michael (Brenda) Jansen of Linden; daughter, Donna (Robert) Jackson of Dallas, step-daughters, Lois (John) Bartels and Kathy (Gerry) Coffman both of Gatesville; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Icie worked in several jobs. She was a teller in Walburg Bank, She was a secretary for the city of McGregor and completed her career at McLennan County Farm Bureau in Waco. Icie lived a life of service in the communities where she lived. She enjoyed crocheting lap robes for Veterans and the elderly. Icie also served shut-ins meals on wheels. She also enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. Icie was a member of First Baptist Church of Terrell, and also a member of the Naomi Sunday School Class.
