

Jasper (Jack) Lewis Lambeth was born on December 22, 1931 in Guilford County, near High Point, North Carolina to Lewis and Roena Cardwell Lambeth, the first of four children. He enjoyed attending school and graduated from Allen Jay High School of High Point before joining the Air Force.
After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, on June 18, 1955, he married Barbara Maxine Edwards in Austin, Texas. After a brief move to North Carolina, they returned to Austin for the remaining 66 years of their marriage. In 1959 they had the first of their three children. Jack worked as a machinist in the Austin area until his retirement at the age of 89. He was a Sunday school teacher, Boy Scout leader and helped create the 4-H shooting sports clubs in Travis County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sharing his love of the outdoors with others.
Jack went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine; sister, Janet Starnes; and brother, Don Lambeth.
Jack is survived by his sister, Shirley Renegar; daughter, Janet Gillespie, and husband Jim; daughter, Barbara Craig, and husband Kevin; son Jacky Lambeth; and grandchildren, Mike Gillespie, Tara Gillespie, Bodie Bragg and husband Kolton, Tess Gillespie and Thomas Craig; and great granddaughter, Booker Maxine Bragg.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at 11:00 am, at Moody Cemetery in Moody, Texas with arrangements under the direction of Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, TX.
