Katherine Ann Gray

Katherine Ann Gray passed Friday, December 5, 2025 at the age of 86. Katherine was born on her parent’s farm in McGregor, TX on September 11, 1939. She was daughter of Frederick Julius & Lillie (Lippe) Lorenz, Sr. Katherine was a beautician & owned the Modern Beauty Shop. She married her husband, James Edwin Gray, on June 3, 1961.

Katherine was proceeded in death by her parents & brother, Frederick Julius Lorenz, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James Edwin Gray of Rockwall, TX, her 3 sisters, Doris Rinn of Seguin, Ruth Hackfeld of Austin and Nancy Johnson of San Antonio, her three daughters, Teresa Habecker & her husband Michael of San Diego, CA, Gail Bright & her husband Mike of N. Richland Hills, and Jill Holland & her husband Donnie of Garland and lastly, her only grandson, Jayden Bright of Lakewood, CO.

Katherine was a talented homemaker and enjoyed traveling, cooking, quilting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She chose to be a stay-at-home mom, and her family meant everything to her. She grew up in the Lutheran church and was a lifelong servant of the Lord. Her beautiful, sweet and caring spirit will be dearly missed.
