

Lee was born on August 3, 1942, to Dan and Maude (Carter) Ramburger in Calhoun, Kentucky. He later became a longtime resident of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas, where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and faith.
On March 17, 1961, Lee married the love of his life, Arlette, at South Shore Christian Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Their 64 years together were filled with dedication, partnership, and a deep and enduring love.
A proud American veteran, Lee served in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army, completing 20 years of combined service before retiring in 1980 as a **First Sergeant**. During his service, he earned **two Purple Hearts** and **five Bronze Stars**, a testament to his bravery, sacrifice, and extraordinary commitment to his country.
After retiring from the military, Lee continued a life of craftsmanship and service. He worked in construction as a home builder and carpenter, becoming a true master of his trade. His skill, precision, and pride in his work left a lasting mark on every home and project he touched.
Lee found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved visiting and spending time with his family, fishing, caring for his yard, and loving on his dogs, Abby and Abe. His gentle spirit, steady presence, and devotion to those he loved will be deeply missed.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Maude Ramburger; his sisters, Sybal Saalwaeshter, Margie Henry, and Maggie Sosh; his brothers, Danny “Ray” Ramburger and JR Ramburger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arlette Ramburger of Bruceville-Eddy, Texas; his brother James Ramburger of Owensboro, Kentucky; and his brother George Ramburger and wife Wand of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Lee’s legacy lives on through his children:
- Michelle Magouirk and husband Joe of Bruceville, Texas
- Matt Ramburger and wife Peggy of China Spring, Texas
- Mark Ramburger of Belton, Texas.
His grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought him immense joy:
- Cody Ramburger and wife Nicole of Blum, Texas, and their son Riggin.
- Zach Ramburger and wife Candis of China Spring, Texas, and their children Brycen and Brystol.
- Josh Ramburger and wife Ashley of Gatesville, Texas, and their daughters Jemma Ramburger and Jianna Uribe.
- Taylor Barron and husband Jesse of Gatesville, Texas, and their children Kyson Snyder, Graham Barron, Preston Barron, Laney Barron, Baker Barron, and Audrey Barron.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Providence Hospice team for the compassionate support and care they provided to Lee and his loved ones in his final days.
Lee will be remembered for his service to his country, his craftsmanship, his love for his family, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.
