

Pauline Galindo Rogers, 98, of McGregor, formerly of Evant, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in a McGregor nursing home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor with Pastor Domingo R. Balderas officiating. Interment will follow in Murphree Cemetery in Evant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, May the 9th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rogers was born on August 13, 1915 in Evant, Texas to Donaciano and Martha (Guerra) Galindo. She married Antonio Rogers on October 17, 1931 in Evant and they celebrated over 59 wonderful years together until his death in December 1990. Mrs. Rogers was an active member of St. Eugene’s in McGregor. She loved to sew and cook but her true love was taking care of her family. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons; Julian and Frank, daughters; Sara, Victoria, Betty and Antonia, brothers; Lolo, Frank and Talio Galindo, daughter-in-law; Margaret and 2 grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons; Victor Rogers and his wife, Teresa and Tony Rogers, daughter; Amelia Balderas and her husband, Domingo, daughters-in-law; Ricarda and Mary Rogers, 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
