Shirley Ann Rodriguez

Shirley was born on April 9, 1948 to Ernest Riley and Pauline Riley, in McGregor, Texas, attended McGregor Hight School, and was a longtime resident of McGregor. Shirley and Lupe Rodriguez were together for 53 years. Shirley was a homemaker and was a members of St. Eugene’s Catholic Church. She loved animals and watching her grandchildren play sports. Shirley was passionate about decorating for any and all holidays. She enjoyed spending time with her family and, most of all, her grandchildren.

Shirley is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Riley; mother, Pauline Cortez; step-father, George Cortez, Sr.; and brother, George Cortez, Jr.

Survivors include husband, Lupe Rodriguez of McGregor; daughters, Kristie Walker and husband, Mark, of Hewitt, Karen Patterson and husband, Steven, of McGregor; son, Keith Rodriguez and wife, Mandy, of Hewitt; grandchildren, Jordan Colvin, Devon Patterson, Landon Patterson, Xavier Rodriguez, Braydon Patterson; sisters, Barbara Marcussen of Allen, Rita Resendez of Robinson, and Rachel Pratt and husband, Ed, of Robinson.
