

Virginia Grace (Key) Dean was born to James Edward Thomas Key and Lona May (Holder) Key in Mt Pleasant, Texas on June 18, 1926. She attended Buckhorn school until she married the love of her life TR Dean in the home of Rev. George Siler on June 6, 1942, 69 years of marriage and devotion!
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband TR, son Freddie of Moody, infant son Dennis, sister Mary Reeves, brothers John, Jimmy, Kenneth, and Carl Key.
Virginia leaves behind a legacy of surviving family; daughter Mary Wanda Dutschmann and husband Marvin of Woodway, daughter Debbie Hohle and husband Michael of Buckhorn, daughter Charlotte Mathews and husband Greg of Temple, daughter-in-law Donna Dean of McGregor, grandson Steven Dutschmann and wife Beth of McGregor, grandson Gary Dutschmann and wife Jennifer of Dallas, granddaughter Lori Burris and husband Simon of Woodway, grandson Jeff Dean and wife Patty of Moody, granddaughter Jennifer Kattner and husband Donald of Moody, grandson Jason Dean and wife Amber of Eddy, grandson Tyler McLean of Jarrell, granddaughter Katie McLean of Temple, great grandchildren Sam Dutschmann, Owen Burris, Peter Burris, Lucy Burris, Kyle Dean and wife Meghan, Lily Dean, Pearson Dean and Anna Dean, and sister Eva Jo Hicks.
Virginia treasured her family and cared for them in every way she knew how. She enjoyed her community of friends and treated so many like family. Virginia was committed to her church for decades. She loved her LORD and held onto her faith through the toughest of times.
Virginia Was A Life-Long Farmer And Rancher And A True Pioneer Woman.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7th at Moody-Leon Methodist Church, Moody, TX. Burial will follow at Buckhorn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tyler McLean, Jason Dean, Steven Dutschmann, Gary Dutschmann, Jeff Dean, and Kyle Dean.
Donations in her memory may be made to Moody-Leon Methodist Church.
