POWELL, Barbara Seay,94, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Powell, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Peggy) S. Baskette and Judith B. Foxwell; six grandchildren, Barbara Demastus, Linda Korman, John Foxwell, Michael Baskette, Steven Baskette and Megan Canose; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Barbara was employed by Eastern Airlines for ten years, Manager of the Travel and Reservation department at Reynolds Metals for twelve years, and Vice President of Tour Plan International for twelve years. Barbara was the recipient of Delta Airlines Flying Orchid. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116 where services will be held 2pm Saturday, March 12th.
