She was born January 29, 1950 in Georgia, a daughter of the late Joel Stewart Taylor and Sara Ellis Taylor.
She attended Wesleyan College and was a former clerk at the Library of Virginia. She attended Three Chopt Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one sister, Elyse Fidler, and her husband, Michael, of Columbus, OH; one stepson, Robert N. Ward, and his wife, Cindy, of Altavista, VA; and one brother-in-law, Barry Ward, and his wife, Cheryl, of Burke, VA.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Three Chopt Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Christopher Tweel with Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6th, at Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road in Mechanicsville.
