Cynthia Thompson Allen, 62, of Hanover County, Glen Allen. She passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Etty Thompson, and daughter Dominique Allen Hudert.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lanier Allen; son, Lee Allen; and daughters Lori Allen Serell Allen, and Michelle Allen Arduini; grandchildren, Sean and Ryan Serell, and Josh and Alex Arduini; her brother Michael Rennels Thompson, his wife Jane and their daughters Gillian and Jennifer of Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was formerly a scrub nurse in the MCV Operating room and a retired Cardiac Lab Research Supervisor at MCV/VCU.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Sloan Kettering Cancer Society.
