Douglas Warren Barbour

of Hanover, VA., (Age 73), passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, November 27, 2023. He was the loving husband of Maria Barbour; devoted father of David, Jessica and Jamie Barbour; cherished "Oompah" of Sage Barbour; brother of Patsy Fisk, Malcolm Barbour and Richard Barbour. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm and Frances Barbour. He served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam and retired as a Building Inspector for Hanover County. He was a devoted volunteer for Our Lady of Lourdes Food Pantry. His dry sense of humor will be missed by many and he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 8200 Woodman Rd., Henrico, VA 23228 on Friday, December 1st at 10 AM.
