Eloise Burks Gaulding

Eloise Burks Gaulding, widow of Melvin Walker Gaulding, Sr., died April 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her three beloved sisters, Ethel Burks Atkins, Peggy Burks Melton, and Dorothy Mae Burks; as well as a much loved son-in-law, Russell Sauvager. She is survived by two daughters, Camille G. Sauvager of Mechanicsville, VA, Deidre G. McDaniel (Dan) of Aylett, VA; one son, M. Walker Gaulding, Jr. (Mary Bob) of Warsaw, VA; one grandson, Scott Sauvager (Jodi); four granddaughters, Britton Edwards (Jay), Kylie Green (Andrew), Spencer Gaulding, and Olivia Gordon (Joey); and one great-granddaughter, Alex Sauvager. She was a life long member of Fairmount Christian Church, which she attended from the time she was one month old. A memorial service will be held at Fairmount Christian Church on Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living (Farnham, VA) for all of the loving care they provided her the last three years.
