James Allen Kline IV

KLINE, James Allen IV, 49, of Mechanicsville, Va., died Thursday, October 4, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Kline III. He is survived by his wife, Becky Rowe Kline; son, James Allen Kline V "Jake"; daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Kline; mother, Shirley Pearson of Warsaw, brother, John Rupert Kline II; nephew, Walker Jacob Kline of Millers Tavern; and other loving family and friends. Jim grew up in Millers Tavern, Va., attended James Madison University and William & Mary Law School. He worked in communication law in Washington, D.C., followed by a successful solo career in the Richmond area. He was active in his community, and is a past president of the following organizations: Hanover County Bar Association, the Richmond Virginia Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation , the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association, and the Synergy Business Networking Club. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Road. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, at Cool Spring Baptist Church, 9283 Atlee Station Rd., Mechanicsville. Interment to follow at St. Pauls's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Millers Tavern.
