Rex Lee Sadler

SADLER, Rex Lee, 71, of Mechanicsville, claimed the promise of the Resurrection on March 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents,Robert and Pauline Sadler, and his brothers, Leslie and Donald Sadler.

He was the beloved husband of Darlene Sadler; and is also survived by his children, Wahneetah Burks (Gordon), Robert Sadler (Karin), Jeff Sadler (Kristin), Stuart Browning (Erika), Steve Browning (Joy); grandchildren, Ashley and Taylor Burks, Colin Sadler, John and James Sadler, Ruby and Natasha Weiner, Kira and Stuart Browning, Tyler Busser, Courtney and Sarah Browning; and by his mother-in-law, Darlene Godsey. Rex is also survived by his siblings, Jon Sadler (Mary Ann), Ron Sadler, Jane Green (Bert), Sue Escoda (Al), Bill Sadler, Tom Sadler (Brenda) and Tim Sadler.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 25, at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, at Shady Grove United Methodist Church, where he was a longtime member.
