

Susan Carver Cosby Frazier, 65, of Richmond, passed away ppeacefully surrounded by family on July 14, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father Nathaniel Joseph Cosby. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 45 years, Thomas “Tom” Morgan Frazier; mother Lois Carver Cosby; daughter Mary Lois Frazier Colfer and her husband Orion; grandchildren Faith Morgan and Vivian Grace; brother N. Joseph Cosby, Jr. and his wife Beth Feitig; nieces Anne Catherine “AC” Cosby and Allison Scott Cosby; and many other relatives and friends. She is a graduate of the class of 1970 of Westhampton College at the University of Richmond and remained close to many of her extraordinary classmates. She enthusiastically dedicated 42 years of work and service to the Medical College of Virginia Hospital at VCU. Her coworkers from MCV were some of her dearest friends. Susanʼs unconditional love, sense of humor, and intellect will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A visitation will be held on July 17, 2014, from 5pm-8pm at Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 11am July 18, 2014 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
