Timothy Michael Molenda

Timothy Michael Molenda, 49, passed away December 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kari Hardman Molenda; daughters Ashley and Mallory Molenda; mother Rebecca M. Lewis; brothers Joseph Molenda, Jr. (Callan), and William Molenda; in-laws Michael and Judith Hardman. Tim graduated from Lee-Davis High School, attended Virginia Tech, and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University. Tim was most recently employed at Erie Insurance as a claims supervisor. Tim was a devoted father and husband who dearly loved his children, his mustang(s), fishing, sunny days, warm beaches, cold drinks and the Virginia Tech Hokies. He will be sorely missed but always remembered for his dry wit and warm heart. Many thanks to Dr. Matthew Jones, Dr. Sameer Rohatgi, the VCU Medical Center staff and the VCU Pauley Heart Center doctors and nurse practitioners. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Ashley and Mallory Education Fund" at any Wells Fargo bank. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Woody Funeral Home – Atlee Chapel, Route 301 and Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA. Visitation will begin at 1pm and the service will follow at 2pm.
