Weston served in the Air National Guard for seven years. He was a machinist and owned a business in Hanover, work that reflected his steady dedication and pride in doing things the right way.
Weston was preceded in death by his parents, Weston Ladd Sr. and Nannie Sue Hurt.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Judy Ladd, and his son, Paul Ladd.
Weston enjoyed racing cars and go karts, pursuits that brought him great joy. He was also very talented with woodworking, a skill that spoke to his patience, precision, and care.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
