HAASE, William “Bill” Allan, 72, passed away Wednesday, July 13th, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda; children, Butch and Tracy (Sean); brother Gary (Ruby); and 3 grandchildren, Blake, Riley, and Carson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Hunter, and his sister Norma Jean.
Bill had many interests and hobbies; he met his wife while taking ballroom dance lessons, was a small plane pilot and ham radio operator, collected and fixed old cars and radios, and loved to spend time outdoors. In his later years he was most content petting his dog and talking with his family while sitting on his back porch.
His memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22nd 2016 at Woody Funeral Home-Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/cwva/.
