
Eva May Thomson, 81, passed away June 15, 2015 at Avamere at Rogue Valley (Medford Rehab). Eva was born May 16, 1934 in Coyle, Oklahoma to Elmer and Lizzie (Craig) Tipton, and was 1 of 9 children. In 1937, she moved to Hanford, California where she met and married Edward J. Tolliver Jr. They then moved to Long Beach, California where they had two sons. They then moved to Fairoaks California in 1957 and had a daughter. In 1969, they moved to Caldwell, Idaho and then settled in the Rogue Valley in 1970 where she has been ever since. She lost her dear husband in 1994. In 1996, she met and married Russell Thomson. Eva worked for many years as a CNA for the Jacksonville Nursing Home. She also was a caregiver for many folks over the years. She enjoyed cake decorating, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, genealogy and camping (Good Sams Club) and she was also a member of the Phoenix First Baptist Church. Eva is survived by her husband Russell Thomson, sons Dale (Shirley) and Wayne (Darlene) Tolliver and daughter Darise (Mike) Rogers; 10 grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. Interment will take place at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
