Heather Ann Mackey

Heather Ann Mackey was born August 7th 1972. She passed away peacefully on February 8th 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. Heather is survived by her husband of 25 years Terry Mackey, daughter Taylor Mackey, two sons, Chase and Luke Mackey, parents Terry and Melinda Roberson, and brothers, Josh, Jeremy and Billy. Her smile and love for life was contagious and she touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved to spend time with her family and friends camping, hiking, exercising and enjoying the great outdoors. Her three children meant the world to her and they were her pride and joy. During Heather’s nursing career, she became an incredible leader and strong advocate for the nursing profession. She was deeply involved with the community and spent countless hours volunteering her time on multiple non-profit boards. We have lost a dearly loved family member but her presence will be with all of us for the remainder of our years. Please help us celebrate Heather’s amazing life on February 22, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Jackson County Expo Mace building in Central Point, Oregon. In lieu of flowers, Heather would appreciate a donation to the Providence Foundation Nurses Education Fund.
