

Patricia Ann Murphy was born on September 15th, 1940 to Claude J Murphy and Ina Mae Huffman in Cardin Oklahoma. Within a couple of years after Pats birth, her mother Ina married Virgil Jarman who then adopted Pat and she became Patricia Ann Jarman. Pats brother Gerald “Jerry” Jarman, was born in 1943 and a few years later the family moved west, first to the Central Valley of California before making their way to Medford Oregon in the early 1950’s. The family purchased a house on Table rock Road in Central Point Oregon and that is where Pat was raised. Pat attended Crater High School and graduated in 1959.
On Valentine’s Day 1960, she married Theodore (Ted) Carl Braun and they welcomed their first child Carla Mae Braun in November of 1961 and their second child Christopher Craig Braun in 1962. In 1963, Ted and Pat Braun divorced. In 1969, Pat married Bobbie Joe Herring who was serving in the US Navy and the family moved to Guantanamo Bay Cuba where Bob was stationed. After serving two years in Cuba, the family was transferred to San Diego California and in July of 1972 welcomed a new daughter, Caron L Herring into the family. They remained living in San Diego California until Bob retired from the Navy and moved to Sam’s Valley in White City Oregon. During that time, Pat worked at the Medford K Mart Store as a Personnel Manager where she would work for several years before retiring. In 1992, Bob and Pat Herring divorced.
A couple of years later Pat met Len Sharp and within a few years Pat and Len Married. Pat and Len had a large circle of friends, which they enjoyed many good years with. For at least ten years, Pat and Len would travel down to Mexico for the winter and stay for several months. They would spend time fishing, golfing, and enjoying the laid-back culture. Pat and Len had a wonderful and happy life together. Len Sharp passed away from cancer in 2013; Pat was by his side to the very end.
After his passing, Pat remained single and enjoyed spending time with her group of girlfriends and their regular weekly nights out. She would spend time with her daughter Caron who remained in the Rogue Valley and occasional visits with her son Chris who lives in San Francisco. Pat passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 6th, 2019. She is survived by her daughters Carla and Caron and her son Chris.
