Raymond was born March 29, 1932 in Glens Falls, New York to Raymond Sr. and Alma (Cuchal) Sprague. After graduating from Warrensburg High School, Raymond enlisted in the United States Air Force and served over 20 years. He retired as a Tech Sergeant in 1971. Ray met and married Johanna Schiller while stationed in Germany. They raised four children while being stationed in various places around the globe. After retirement, the family settled in Queensbury, New York. Johanna passed away in 1998, they had been married for 37 years.
Ray loved the outdoors, fishing was a favorite. When being indoors was required, he loved reading, writing and drawing. He was very fond of spending time with his grandchildren.
Ray is survived by his children, Estella Duval, William Sprague, Sandi Mills and Robert Sprague. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other dear family and friends.
