Rose Mary Davis

Rose Mary was born on April 29, 1940 in Medford Oregon to Lou Kusel and Anna Maria Lebeck. She graduated from Phoenix High School in 1958 & married Eugene Davis that summer. She lived in various places all along the west coast from Washington to California.

Rose Mary and Eugene had four children, she was deeply invested in her family and friends. She and her husband were involved in the Elks, Moose and Eagles club and she was the queen of TOPS in the mid 1970’s.

Rose Mary enjoyed children and loved spending time with her family, she also enjoyed crossword puzzles, loved words, watching the local dirt racing and to crochet afghans. The couple vacationed all over the Washington and Oregon coast visiting Depo Bay (her favorite place) to watch the seascapes and ocean wonders.

She worked at the Oregon/California theater, and she was very proud to be the manager of the Stratford Inn in Ashland and later came back to be the coffee bar attendant.

Rose Mary is survived by her husband Eugene, and four children: Edwin of Kelso Washington, Carol of Sam’s Valley, Donald of Longview Washington, and Darrel of Central Point. She is preceded in death by her parents and all 6 of her siblings. She is also survived by 8 grandkids and 9 great grandchildren.

In her later years she loved the singing at Community Bible Church worshiping her savior.

Rose Mary was diagnosed with Cancer in 1983, she had to fight hard but came out a survivor. Therefore, donations can be made in Rose’s name to the American Cancer Society.
