Mrs. Shirley Jean Mitchell

Shirley Jean Mitchell passed away at Rogue Valley Hospital Medford Oregon of natural causes. She was born April 1, 1928 in Kankakee Illinois to parents Roberta McAlister & Lonnie Adams. She married Bobby Lee Mitchell in 1951. Bob & Shirley worked hard all their life owning several business's in Chiloquin and Klamath Falls Oregon through out the year's. Shirley became a real estate broker in Medford Oregon later after all her children were all raised.

She was always there for anyone who needed help and one doctor had told her she should have become a nurse as she learned so quickly how to take care of those in need. Her hobbies were bowling, ceramics and later she was a bingo going grandma!!

Shirley helped her children and their friends out with baseball mom, cub scouts, girl scout leader. Driving kids down to Tulelake to work in the fields. PTA meetings. She even went roller skating with her grandkid's in Klamath!

She is survived by her 5 children Shirley Lou Schauerman (Chuck) Knoxville TN Richard Lockwood Medford Oregon, Robert Mitchell (Debbie) Rock Springs Wyo. Marcia Rohrbough (Steve) Dayton WA. Lonnie Mitchell (Joyce) Lincoln Montana Her siblings Ruth Covey (Walt) Rapid City SD , Kenneth Adams (Thu) Kent WA , Keith Adams (Mary) Several Grandchildren and great & great great grandchildren. Shirley had a very special place in her heart for her nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Bob Mitchell, her parents, sister Jackie Black Olympia WA,, brother Roger Adams Saint Helens OR.
