Earl L. Young

Born on February 13, 1932, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Bertram and Nellie (Grimes) Young.

Earl graduated from Medina High School and then married the former Marie Johnson and together they made their home in Medina, raising two sons. Earl worked for Ridge Sand & Gravel and later drove truck for Oak Orchard Concrete and when he wasn’t driving truck, he was farming. He enjoyed deer hunting and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie Young, two sons, Dennis Young of Medina and Allen Young of Brockport, two grandchildren, Kevin and Katie Young of Medina and many nieces and nephews.

Earl is predeceased by two brothers, Robert and David Young and a sister, Carol Schultz.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Bates Rd. Cemetery, Medina.
