Kelly Moore

Born on October 14, 1928 in Fola, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Luke and Mary (Brown) Moore.

He was married to the late Alma R. Moore on February 2, 1950, and together they raised eight children. He was employed by the local coal mines and then with T.J. Lipton and also with Ontario Foods. Lastly, he was employed as a custodian with the Oak Orchard Assembly God Church, where he was a long time member. Kelly enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by eight children: Marsha Prince of Simpsonville, SC, Larry Thomas Moore of Batavia, NY, Gwinn Whipple of Simpsonville, SC, Steve Moore of Albion, NY, Eldridge (Pam Jenks) Moore of Albion, NY, Cathy (Robert) Mufford of Albion, NY, Robert Moore of Albion, NY, Jennifer (Eric) Jones of Medina, NY; Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister: Virgie Brown and a son-in-law, Al Prince.

Family and friends may call on Friday July 29, 2011from 2PM-4PM and 7PM-9PM at the Oak Orchard Assembly of God, 12111 Ridge Rd., Medina, NY, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00AM, with the Pastor, Rev. Daniel A. Thurber officiating.
